A giant crocodile weighing one ton and a length of almost 7 meters was captured alive by villagers in the Philippines, and they plan to turn it into a tourist attraction south of the country.

According to the Mayor Edwin Cox Elorde, the crocodile was captured in a river in the province of Agusan Bunavan del Sur a few dozen villagers who were hunting him for three weeks. Experts say that the crocodile can be captured by one of the largest in recent years. He killed a buffalo in the past month, as well as a fisherman in July.

Once people threw at the net and pulled out a crocodile, he was raised by a crane on the truck and placed in a fenced area in the newly constructed ecotourism park.
