Saturn System

 NASA's Cassini spacecraft successfully completed its Oct. 1 flyby of Saturn's moon Enceladus and its jets of water vapor and ice. At its closest approach, the spacecraft flew approximately 62 miles (100 kilometers) above the moon's surface. The close approach was designed to give some of Cassini's instruments, including the ion and neutral mass spectrometer, the chance to "taste" the jets themselves.

A study in the journal Science indicated that electrical charges are generated when rock fragments, ash, and ice particles in a volcanic plume collide and produce static charges, just as ice particles collide in regular thunderstorms.

Yesterday the 22-year-old German Pope Pius Heinz won the world championship of poker and become richer by 8.7 million dollars. In addition, he was awarded the championship bracelet. His opponent was 35-year-old Czech player Martin Stazhkov.

Flying Rhino

Because of the thriving poaching, whose goal is the production of horns of rhinoceros, the South African black rhinos are critically endangered. This year alone, poachers killed 341 individual. In order to save the animal conservation organization WWF is carrying 19 black rhinos from the Eastern Cape a safer place in Limpopo, for 1,000 miles.
This way of rhinoceroses have come through the air, attached a rope to the helicopter. Animals previously given sleeping pills.
Experts say that this method of transportation is much better, faster and easier for the animals themselves, rather than for a long time to shake over bumps in the close box.
